"SkyScape" is a planetarium program, which will calculate and display the positions of the planets and more than 9000 stars, for any given time and place on Earth. It is easy to use, with attractive, versatile and accurate graphics, and is designed to help locate and identify planets, stars and constellations in the night sky.
"SkyScape" is a Java(TM) application, so it can be used under various operating systems, including Unix, Macintosh, Solaris and Windows.
I wrote it a few years ago, and use it frequently. There are still features that I haven't got around to implementing. It's provided here, in a ready-to-use form, 'as is', without warranty, free of charge, in the hope that it might be interesting to some, or even useful. Enjoy!
