Llun is a Welsh word which means a picture or image, and I guess it used to mean something to do with the Moon, too, because dydd Llun means Monday. (The u sounds something like ee sounds in English. The ll is like an l but with no voice, just breath.) The fact that llun spells null backwards is just a coincidence.
